Lightweight mullite brick with AL2O3 content of 67.1 % synthesized by kyanite and industrial alumina powder is mainly used in various kilns of domestic ceramics, building ceramics and special industrial ceramics, various high-temperature kilns in petrochemical industry, various high-grade heating furnaces and large-scale hot blast furnaces in metallurgical industry for direct refractory lining. In these kilns, when the working temperature exceeds the temperature that other lightweight materials can withstand ( such as refractory fibers ), and the parts that must use lightweight materials can give full play to the various properties of this lightweight refractory brick.
